Musée provincial des Arts anciens du Namurois

The Provincial Museum of Ancient Art of Namur has been housed since 1964 in the 18th century Gaiffier d'Hestroy Hotel, which is owned by the Province of Namur. The stuccoes on the front façade (1768) are listed as part of Wallonia's exceptional heritage.

The permanent collections consist of works of art from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance from the Namur region. The museum also displays the famous Treasure of Oignies, as well as the largest collection of paintings by the painter Henri Bles.

The museum organises special events and workshops for children, the visually impaired and the mentally handicapped.

The back building (permanent collections) is inaccessible for people with motor or visual impairments.
