Natur\u2019Accessible project: when trails become accessible<\/h3>\n

The Natur\u2019Accessible project, led by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Parcs naturels de Wallonie, develops trails in natural areas to make them accessible to a range of people with specific needs. Adapted paths, rest areas, information panels and educational modules make it possible to enjoy nature in better conditions. Several trails are already accessible, including the Najauge trail, the bat trail in Orval and the \u00c9ric le Pic trail.<\/p>\n

Le Fagotin: a certified accommodation where the donkey is your partner<\/h3>\n

At Le Fagotin in Stoumont, adapted activities enable people with specific needs to discover nature in a different way. Animal care, farm activities, sensory experiences and even wild-food cooking are complemented by donkey-assisted activities.<\/p>\n

The relationship with the donkey promotes well-being, confidence and independence, while also providing an original way to explore the natural environment.<\/p>\n

Discover other initiatives<\/h3>\n

Nature can also be experienced in ways other than through adapted trails. Jo\u00eblette hiking, horse-drawn carriage rides and adapted diving allow people with disabilities to explore natural environments with suitable equipment and support. Meanwhile, Natagora\u2019s \u201cNature for All\u201d project offers sensory tools, such as three-dimensional reproductions of birds, to discover biodiversity in a different way. All these initiatives show that everyone can find their own way of experiencing nature.<\/p>\n
