Les Solidarités 2024
After ten or so editions, Solidarités has quickly established itself as one of the summer's must-see festivals, with a diverse line-up for all public.
Les Solidarités is more than just a festival ! It's also a fabulous children's city where they can have fun, share and discover.
But it's also a committed festival, with discussions, debates and a radio station on offer throughout the weekend.
People with disabilities are not forgotten. Every year, improvements are made to welcome you in the best possible conditions. Some new features this year : vibrating waistcoats for the hearing impaired and a raised map for the visually impaired.
NOTE : the facilities listed below are provided by the organisers. This information will be confirmed on this information sheet the day before the event !

- The number of places is limited (around 100). Priority is given to people with a parking card or EDC - European Disability Card.
- Drop-off points near the car park, Rue de l'Artisanat.
- If the PRM car park is full, PRM parking spaces will also be provided at Temploux aerodrome to join the shuttles, but only for people who can get on and off a bus without assistance.
- The shuttle bus stop is at the beginning of Rue du Réemploi, 250m from the festival entrance.
- The ‘gare’ shuttle bus stop is located at the foot of the festival entrance, but only for people who can get on and off a bus without assistance.
- The return shuttles will leave from the same point.
- A team of volunteers is on hand to provide information and help throughout the festival.
- Volunteers are made aware of and trained to welcome PRMs.
- Volunteers can be identified by their blue PRM chasubles.
- Adapted toilets are provided in the communal areas and near the reserved area.

- The event site is closed. Tickets are required to enter the site.
- The event welcomes many people to the site. There will be a big crowd.
- For safety reasons, all movable seats will be refused (cane-seat, stool, etc.).

- The Place des Arts stage has a PRM zone on each side of the control room to accommodate around a hundred people.
Points of attention
- Access to the event is possible by various means of transport, but no vehicles are allowed to park on the Ecolis site.
- Depending on the volume of traffic, the traffic and manoeuvring zones can be reduced or lanes added, but priority lanes are envisaged.
- The ‘P&V’ stage is equipped with a reserved podium. Seating is limited.
- The 'Magic Mirrors' stage has a reserved area marked on the floor for PRMs, but depending on the show and/or activity, the audience will be seated or standing.

- Traffic will be mainly on the road. Rolling signs will be installed in green zones.

Points of attention
- For those who do not wish to use the shuttles, a pedestrian route is envisaged (45-minute walk), but this has not been analysed.
- Depending on how busy it is, traffic areas may be reduced.
- There are a few slopes in the green spaces.
- To get around the Casa, the central bar or to the 'Magic Mirrors' stage, there are some speed bumps, but they can be avoided.
- In areas reserved for PRMs, the number of seats is limited.
- For safety reasons, cane seats and mobile stools will not be allowed.

- Traffic flows either on the roadway or on footpaths with tread plates.

- The ‘P&V’ stage will have a limited number of seats.
- The ‘Magic Mirrors’ stage will offer both standing and seated concerts and shows. A reserved area will be provided.
- A changing area is planned at the central first-aid post.
Points of attention
- The site is fenced off, but it is still possible for a festival-goer to leave the site alone. Exiting the festival is not as tightly controlled, so the guards won't always have the opportunity to stop people leaving.
- There will be crowds and noise. At this stage, we don't know whether light shows or stromboscopic effects are planned.
