Artothèque Mons
La chapelle du couvent des Ursulines connaît un nouveau souffle. Elle est devenue le lieu de conservation du patrimoine communal montois en servant d’écrin aux œuvres et aux activités qui les entourent.
A la fois centre de réserve, de recherche, de restauration et d’étude du patrimoine, l'Artothèque rassemble en son sein les collections qui ne seront pas exposées de façon permanente dans les autres sites muséaux. Outre sa mission de conservation, ce lieu a également un large rôle de promotion du patrimoine montois en le rendant accessible virtuellement mais aussi en levant une partie du voile sur les métiers « cachés » dans les musées.
