La Boverie
La Boverie abrite les collections permanentes du musée des Beaux-Arts de Liège et un tout nouvel espace destiné à accueillir des expositions temporaires aux multiples facettes, qui représentent à chaque fois une expérience unique pour le visiteur.
Un niveau du bâtiment accueille les collections des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Liège. Lambert Lombard, Gérard de Lairesse, Ingres, Gauguin, Chagall, Picasso, Evenepoel, Delvaux, Magritte, et d’autres attestent de la modernité de l’art à toutes les époques, de la Renaissance à nos jours. Le parcours, accessible au plus grand nombre, est accompagné d’un soutien didactique interactif en quatre langues.
Le niveau supérieur accueille, quant à lui, des expositions temporaires d’envergure, sur environ 2800 m². Ces expositions sont soit organisées directement par la Ville de Liège, soit construites en collaboration avec le Louvre, soit, enfin, confiées à d’autres opérateurs.
