La Tricoterie

La Tricoterie is a cultural and events venue in the heart of Saint-Gilles, founded in 2010 by a group of citizens who wanted to change the world by realising a dream: to create a unique venue focused on culture, meeting people and sustainability.

La Fabrique de liens welcomes you and offers a cultural season and a host of activities and events.

La Tricoterie also offers spaces for hire and professional services (catering).

  • La Tricoterie is a complex building on several floors (basement and n+1).
  • The building has a number of different rooms and spaces: the Salle des Arches, the foyer, the mezzanine, the lounge, the boudoir, the terrace and the attic.
  • The building hosts both public and private events. During public events, the organisation of the space changes according to the needs of the event.
  • Only the arch room, foyer and boudoir are accessible on one level.
  • The mezzanine and attic are only accessible by stairs.
  • The terrace and the lounge are accessible by a step, and these areas can be made accessible by means of specific arrangements put in place by La Tricoterie.
  • There are two PRM toilets: one near the foyer and one near the lounge. None of the toilets is suitably equipped. 
  • The adapted toilet on the ground floor is accessible via a short 30 cm slope of 20 to 30%.
