Maison de la culture Namur - Le Delta
le Delta - Provincial Cultural Space
Bright and warm, with its woodwork and multiple windows, its curves, shades and varied volumes and the views it offers, the Delta is intended to be a pleasant place to live, open to all.
Its concept is based on the principle of the "third place", where the public becomes an actor, where one conceives as much as one receives, where culture is experienced in a spontaneous, natural way, where it is good to meet, to share and, through the interactions that the place and its cultural action will arouse, to generate common sense. The Delta thus offers spaces that encourage encounters between people, creativity, the pooling of ideas, the sharing of knowledge, practices, resources, desires... Culture is experienced in a natural and free manner.
The interior fittings encourage conviviality and free movement. The hall, the panoramic garden and the foyer of the main hall are open during the day to visitors who can practice their art, share it with others, and find a common meaning. A reading area with local and national newspapers and alternative press is available in the foyer.
