Maison du Parc naturel des Plaines de l'Escaut

The Maison du Parc naturel des Plaines de l'Escaut offers a museum space dedicated to nature : insects, birds, mushrooms and forest animals.

You can also pick up a few local products and information on walks and other discoveries linked to the Nature Park. 

Nearby, you can complete your visit with the Natur'accessible de Bon-Secours circuit, which surrounds the Maison du Parc.

The PRM parking lot closest to the Maison du Parc entrance is located on Rue des Sapins. The façade of the building is currently being renovated, but accessibility is planned and guaranteed.

To enter the house, you need to walk along the handrail for about 50 meters. The entrance is signposted. The door opens automatically, but must be activated with the button on your right. The door opens towards you : wait for it to open before moving forward. The counter is opposite the entrance.

The adapted toilet is 142 cm deep. Free space outside the equipment is 140 x 200 cm.

The exit is in the projection room. You can turn around at any time to take the lift back. The exit is via the outdoor walkway, which allows you to be immersed in nature. There are no steps to climb. The walkway has a slight slope. If crossing slopes is a problem, don't hesitate to turn around and take the lift again.
