Maison du Pays de Salm

The exhibition starts with a film on the history of the Salm region. It then continues with the geological characteristics of the region and its stone types. It ends with legends and macrales (witches). 

Because of the theme of the exhibition, some of the pieces are very dark and scary. 

The exhibition takes place on an 8.5% gradient, with no landings, no handrails and a length of over 20m. 

The counter is located just opposite the main door. From the PRM entrance, which is +/- 10 metres from the front door, the ticket office is not well signposted. 

The projection room is dark and the videos are not subtitled. 

The path through the exhibition is simple. You have to follow the circuit but the whole exhibition is dark and poorly lit. 

There are no accessible toilets.

The end of the exhibition is one level lower than the ground floor. To exit this exhibition, the last door is heavy and has a clearance of only 76cm. The exit is either via the lift with no turning area in front of the door and an insufficient clearance of only 79cm, or by walking up the ramps of the entire exhibition. 

There is no wheelchair-accessible sanitary facility. No rotation area, no transfer area. Clearance of toilet doors of only 76cm.
