Malmundarium

The Malmundarium, located in the centre of the town of Malmedy, is a tourist and cultural space situated in the former Benedictine monastery with a long history dating back to the 7th century.

On the ground floor, around the inner courtyard and the cloister, you will discover the leather, paper and carnival workshops, the cathedral treasure and temporary exhibitions in the "Mon'Art" area.

In the attic, on the 2nd floor, the time line traces the particular history of the city of Cwarmê, and the "Châtelet" and "Poudingue" areas will present temporary exhibitions. 

This museum offers a space of memory, art, history and culture. A must-see place in the Eastern Townships.

In July and August, the museum is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. The other months of the year, the opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 and the closing day is Monday.

The parking area is +/- 130 m from the entrance, but a drop-off point is available right next to the door.
