Musée Félicien Rops
Le musée Félicien Rops est situé dans un ancien hôtel de maître, au coeur du vieux Namur, non loin de la maison natale de l'artiste et de l'église Saint-Loup, édifice baroque classé patrimoine majeur de Wallonie.
Le musée présente tous les aspects de l'oeuvre de l'artiste (1833-1898), les grandes étapes de sa vie (Namur, Bruxelles, Paris), ses rencontres et ses créations. Une approche technique de la diversité de son talent est aussi proposée : la gravure, le dessin, la peinture.
Le musée est propriété de la Province de Namur qui, depuis 1964, date de sa création, n'a cessé d'augmenter son patrimoine, aidé par la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles et des mécènes privés.
Outre la présentation des collections, le musée vous propose divers services (visites commentées, expositions temporaires et stage, audio-guides, publications sur l'artiste et son siècle, centre de documentation).
