Office du Tourisme de Jalhay
Jalhay's tourist office is housed in the Maison Vicariale: the former parish vicar's house was built in the 19th century on the ruins of the old covered market (community house) destroyed by fire in 1825.
Jalhay lies at the gateway to the Hautes Fagnes and its wild moors.
There are many walks in the fens, forests and villages, on foot, on horseback, by bike or mountain bike, following our streams through the valleys of the Hoëgne, Statte and Sawe.
There is a wide range of tourist accommodation, including self-catering cottages, farmhouse cottages, furnished holiday accommodation, bed and breakfast, hotels and campsites.
Jalhay is a gourmet town, with restaurants and brasseries serving local dishes such as cabbage, Jalhay black pudding and game dishes in autumn.
