Welcome to Access-i

Piscine communale de Wanze

The Wanze swimming pool was renovated in 2022 as part of the Pool Plan subsidy. Every effort has been made to accommodate people with special needs, whatever their disability. This issue was taken into account throughout the project in the choice of equipment, materials, colours and layout. The cafeteria on the first floor is now accessible via a platform lift, and the swimming pool has been fitted with a drowning detection system. Staff have also been trained to deal with disabled people.

The pool has a 25-metre pool, a training pool, a children's pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna (at an additional cost). In summer, you can also enjoy the terrace and garden!

The 2 disabled parking spaces are located near the entrance.

There is an automatic sliding door at the entrance and all movements are on the same level. Reception staff are on hand to show and explain how it works. You can ask for a wristband for easy use of the lockers (without having to enter a code).

There are 2 accessible communal changing rooms and 2 large individual cubicles accessible to people with motor disabilities and families. A swimming pool wheelchair and a launching device are available.

The cafeteria on the first floor is accessible via the inside staircase or via a lifting platform outside at the side of the building.
