Welcome to Access-i

Piscine de la Tourette à Biesme

Renovated as part of the Walloon Region's Swimming Pool Plan, the Tourette swimming pool in Biesme reopened on 31 July 2023. During the renovation, every effort was made to provide the best possible facilities for people with special needs.

It's open every day, with a 25-metre pool accessible by stairs, a learning pool and a cafeteria with a sun terrace!

A parking space reserved for people with reduced mobility has been created directly next to the entrance to the swimming pool. It is accessible via the entrance gate at the crossroads with the N573. To open the gate, ring the bell on the post.

The doors are sliding and automatic and all access is on one level with no steps.

The pool has individual and family cubicles, as well as a large cubicle equipped for people with motor disabilities, and 2 communal changing rooms, also adapted and equipped.

Lockers are code-operated, and there are also coin-operated lockers.

The 2 pools are accessible by stairs, and a pool wheelchair and launching device are available.

The lighting has been redesigned to be sufficient and glare-free, and contrasts help with orientation.
