Welcome to Access-i

Piscine de Florennes

Designed in the 1970s, the Florennes swimming pool has been extensively renovated as part of the Walloon Region's ‘Swimming Pool Plan’. It reopened its doors in March 2023. During the works, every effort was made to provide the best possible facilities for people with disabilities.

It is open to the public every day outside school hours, with an approved 25-metre pool and a separate paddling pool for younger children.

The entrance to the swimming pool is not visible. When you reach the sports centre's general car park, follow the road down to the rear of the building, where 2 disabled parking spaces are available close to the entrance.

In addition to the outside staircase, there is a vertical lift to the pool level.

You must remove your shoes before entering the changing room corridor: benches and a shelf are available.

There is an individual changing room and 2 adapted communal changing rooms, all 3 equipped with flip-up seats and grab bars.

The lockers operate with a centralised locking system, very easy to use with a wristband! Don't hesitate to ask if you have difficulty using a keypad.

Please note that there are automatic showers after the foot bath (on the same level) ! You can ask to deactivate them.
