Tour & Taxis – Gare Maritime
Support :
The project to audit and certify 12 VENUES infrastructures was made possible by the valuable support of :
Please note :
This certification only concerns the building and not future events that may take place in it.
During events, the layout of the premises may change, resulting in a change in accessibility. The responsibility for this change would then lie with the event organiser.
Furthermore, the certification visit only concerned the public part of the building and not the rented parts.
Description of the VENUE :
The Maritime Station: the former freight station turned energy-neutral urban jungle!
It offers the ideal setting for innovative cultural events, film and photo shoots, markets and fairs, product launches and promotions. The halls of the Maritime Station have been transformed into an indoor city. The building lends itself to the organisation of small meetings or large happenings. The monumental nave, an architectural highlight, is bathed in indirect natural light and offers sufficient space for well-attended indoor activities.
On the green promenades bordering the central nave, themed gardens and high-trunk trees have been brought in - as if the neighbouring park were weaving its way into the building.
The Maritime Station is a unique place: attractive, innovative, ambitious.
