Thon Hôtel EU (Partie Venues)

Thon Hotel EU offers state-of-the-art facilities for seminars, training courses, conferences, meetings and other events. All conference rooms have access to natural light, air conditioning and modern technical equipment.

The sites are relatively accessible, but we nevertheless recommend that you consult the respective information sheets according to your needs.

Staff are on hand to help you if you encounter any obstacles.

This certification relates only to the building and not to future events held there. During events, the layout of the premises may change, resulting in a change in accessibility. Responsibility for this change would then lie with the event organiser.

The accessible entrance at 75 rue de la Loi is open from 09:00 to 18:00. The main accessible entrance is nearby, at 132 rue de Trèves. There is a car park in the hotel, with 4 parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities.
Reception staff can help if required.
Please note: the adapted toilet in the lobby next to reception is difficult to use (in particular, the transfer area is inadequate and the grab rails are complicated).
There is another adapted toilet on the 1st floor, close to the conference rooms, with a door that has a clear passage of 84cm and the fixed grab bar is angled.
The building is easy to get around (except for the carpet in the corridors of the upstairs conference rooms, which may restrict movement for some people).

The conference rooms are accessible.
Please note: the "France" room is on the ground floor but all the other rooms are on the first floor via a lift which is 125cm deep (-8cm due to the presence of a protection bar inside the cabin).
There is an accessible restaurant, a buffet in the morning and an à la carte menu, with staff on hand to help if needed.
Please note: the height of the tables is between 72 and 75cm, with a central leg and a clear depth of 35cm under the table.

The building is relatively accessible, but the following points should be noted:
If the lifts break down, they are not glazed and there is no mobile phone number displayed for text messaging (nor is there a camera). However, the lift to the 1st floor conference rooms can be bypassed by a spiral staircase.
There are no staff trained to welcome deaf people.
There is no simplified or pictorial menu in the restaurant.
The meeting rooms are accessible.

The building is accessible, but has the following points of attention:
At the entrance, there is a lack of contrast on the first and last steps of the stairs, but they can be bypassed by a ramp. This is also the case for the spiral staircase leading to the first floor of the conference rooms, but it can be bypassed by a lift.
The patterns illustrated on the carpet on the floors can be disturbing.
