Circuit vélo : Ancien canal

Distance : 15.7 km

Start/finish: Escale Aventure, entertainment centre, avenue du Lac -Péronnes-lez-Antoing

The majority of the circuit is on the towpath following the Grand Large. The walk is very pleasant, clean and safe.

Along the route, there is an unobstructed view of the entire Grand Large site. Continuing along the Scheldt RaVel, visitors will reach the second boat lift.

To extend the tour, it is possible to make a small loop in the shade of the trees to admire the Grand Large from another perspective, then return to the starting point.

You will find all the information on this additional loop on the following page.

On a good day, the Ravel can be very busy, and by experienced cyclists.

We advise you to make the circuit from the old canal to the new canal in order to take advantage of the slopes in the downhill direction.
