Les Francofolies de Spa 2024 - Access-i

Strong points

• As every year, the Francos aim to provide high-quality Access-i, with reserved car parks, adapted access routes and toilets, as well as reserved areas in front of the main stages.
• A team of volunteers (clearly identifiable) will be on hand to welcome you and help you if necessary throughout the festival.
• Assistance will also be provided in obtaining wristbands at the exchange point on Avenue Reine Astrid.
• A PRM map can be downloaded from the Francos website.
• Specific signposting will show you the accessible route to the stages and the areas reserved for people with reduced mobility.

Points of attention

• The PRM stands are very busy. There are no reserved seats, so come early and priority will be given to holders of the blue "disabled person" card or the European Disability Card (EDC).
• There are no induction loops at the festival.

• There are several reserved car parks: the CPAS car park (rue Hanster) and the Avenue Reine Astrid car park are close to the general festival entrance, while the Boulevard des Anglais car park is closer to the busy city centre.                       
• There is also a drop-off zone in front of the Avenue Reine Astrid entrance before you reach the car park.
• The procedure for obtaining wristbands has been made easier (dedicated lane for PRMs, see signage). The ticket desks are raised (2 steps), and volunteers will be on hand to help you.
• A PRM welcome stand just after the entrance gantry with adapted toilets, a fridge for depositing medication, the possibility of recharging mobile phones or motorised chairs, a dog bar for assistance dogs, etc.
• Rubber matting and resurfaced kerbs for easy access.
• Reserved areas opposite the festival's main stages (Pierre Rapsat, Proximus and Baloise) with chairs for your companion.
• Adapted toilets near the podiums reserved for PRMs, at the entrance to each sanitary area and at the PRM stand at the entrance to the site. An adapted toilet is available in the town centre at the Jardin du Casino.

• Signage was clear and it was easy to find your way around the site, in a safe, well-defined area.      

Points of attention

• The conditions for taking part in the festival are the usual ones: noise, strobe effects, darkness and high crowd density.
