Welcome to Access-i

Salon de l'accessibilité

This exhibition is not open to the general public, but is aimed at all staff of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (central administration staff, museums, libraries, cultural centres, etc.).

For the second time, the Wallonia-Brussels federation is organising an accessibility fair in conjunction with Etnic (IT partner for the progress of the Wallonia-Brussels federation).

This is an opportunity to raise awareness among its staff of disability issues, and particularly digital accessibility, through various role-playing exercises and key-notes.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover a range of tools for making documents and websites accessible, how to organise an accessible event, etc.

In the analysis, only the atrium, the cafeteria and the rooms on the 6th floor were taken into account for the event.

Strong points

We strongly advise you to use public transport. Ribaucourt station is not accessible (no escalator or lift). Yser station is accessible with assistance, but further from the entrance. The route between the metro stations and the building entrance has not been analysed.

All visitors must be checked before entering the building.

  • The PRM manager can be contacted prior to the event.
  • The exhibition takes place on the ground floor in the atrium and on the 6th floor by lift.
  • Entrance to the building is via the main entrance.
  • A number of parking spaces will be reserved for visitors in the basement. PRM parking spaces will be available on request. Clear passage width from the door to the lift = 80 cm
  • Volunteers will be on hand at the entrance to the building to provide information and assistance throughout the event. They will be identifiable with yellow jackets.
  • There is free wifi access on site.

Points of attention

  • It may be difficult to park close to the building.
