Museum of Medicine

The Museum of Medicine has been in existence for over 25 years and houses a unique collection consisting mainly of works of art and archaeological artefacts rather than old instruments and equipment. A visit to its eight exhibition rooms provides a direct insight into medical practices and enables visitors to understand the evolution of medicine.

Practical information :
  • The museum is relatively accessible but there are several points to note. Please refer to the specific information sheet detailing the museum's accessibility for different target audiences.

  • The museum building is located on the Erasme campus.

  • The museum staff are particularly aware of and trained in welcoming people with reduced mobility.

  • The museum organises special visits for audiences with specific needs.
