Ruines du Château Fort de Logne

Overlooking the Ourthe Valley, former stronghold of the Prince-Abbots of Stavelot and hideout of the fearsome ‘Boars of the Ardennes’, it was destroyed on 1 May 1521 by the troops of Emperor Charles V.

Major archaeological excavations and restoration work are still ongoing.

Why not treat yourself to a self-guided tour, with an audio guide or commentary from one of the guides, or take part in a treasure hunt !
