Gîte "La Maison en Bois"

New eco-friendly wooden building.

A gîte 100% accessible to all, located in a small village typical of the Ardennes.

The owners have made a point of thinking about the planet : low-energy house, rainwater recovery, ecological lime paints, use of local wood, etc.

The gîte is adjoined by a studio apartment owned by the owners (who are present on an intermittent basis).

The village is surrounded by woodland for endless walks ; you may come across hinds and roe deer, or listen to the bellowing of the stag in autumn.

Children can play in the garden ; there's a large terrace for summer meals and a cosy wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. It is possible to rent just the ground floor.

Practical information :
  • This gîte is fully adapted for all types of disability.

  • There are 2 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds, the other with 2 twin beds) on the ground floor.

  • There are no steps at the entrance or to access the terrace.

  • Ground floor : fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with large bay window overlooking the south-west facing garden (33 ares), shower room, WC and utility room.

  • Upstairs : large bedroom with twin beds, shower room and separate WC.

  • The instructions (Wi-Fi, drinking water, bins, kitchen, etc.) are only available in text format, without pictograms or FALC.
