Car park

• Since 1 July 2024, you can park in the underground car park at Espace Léopold. There are four disabled parking spaces. Access and exit are via Rue Joseph Netzer. The lift will take you to Place Léopold.

• A public disabled parking space is available on Rue des Faubourgs (near the disabled entrance).

• Two other public disabled parking spaces are available on Square Albert 1er.

• The reserved parking spaces are clearly marked, sufficiently large and level.

Access road from the car park

• All passageways are wide enough.

Entrance

• The disabled entrance is located on the right side of the Palace, on Rue des Faubourgs. The doorbell is located at a height of 127 cm. Staff will open the door for you. There is a small 4 cm bevelled step. You will need to use a platform lift (80 cm x 120 cm) and then a lift, which will take you to the floor and the reception area.

Vertical movement

• Lift cabin dimensions : 110 cm x 116 cm.

Adapted toilet

• Toilet for people with reduced mobility : access to the toilet for people with reduced mobility is difficult because the entrance is blocked by the sink (there is not enough space to turn around, which is 150 cm excluding equipment > entrance is 160 cm wide).

Entrance

There is a small 4 cm bevelled step. You will need to use a platform lift with a folding seat (platform dimensions : 80 cm x 120 cm) or climb 3 steps and then take a lift, which will take you to the floor and the reception desk. There is therefore a distance of 100 m between the disabled entrance and the reception desk.

• The reception desk is located more than 50 metres from the entrance.

• Please watch out for the very small step at the bottom of the front steps: you may not be able to detect it with a cane.
