It is possible to join the walk at various points, thereby avoiding the less accessible sections of the route.

Two alternative routes: reach the Jardin du Mayeur (point 1) via Rue d’Enghien to avoid the slope with uneven cobblestones leading from the Town Hall courtyard and to avoid the steps at the Passage Victor Hugo. Reach the MOC courtyard (point 5) via Rue Tour Auberon and Rue des Telliers (approx. 270m). Signposting is provided.

Accessible toilets are provided at the entrance to the Hôtel de Graty (roughly halfway along the route) and in the Jardin du Mayeur (toilets at the Musée du Doudou).

Access is facilitated by the installation of mats or slabs and ramps to compensate for certain kerbs.

Spaces reserved for those with the greatest need, closest to the stages, are marked by guide plates.

There are no dedicated volunteers on hand at all times to assist visitors with reduced mobility.

There are uneven streets and kerbs with a 30 per cent gradient in some places.
