Access-i-certified trails for enjoying nature in Wallonia

Under the rain or the sun, hiking and walking are excellent ways to get some fresh air, reconnect with nature and look after yourself.

For over ten years, Access-i has been certifying walks in Wallonia to provide reliable information on their level of accessibility. These routes enable people with reduced mobility, families with pushchairs, older people and those with sensory or cognitive disabilities to enjoy nature in the best possible conditions.

Spanning forests, nature reserves, charming villages and educational trails, these walks offer a different way to discover Wallonia’s rich natural heritage.

Some of these trails form part of “the Natur’Accessible project”, launched in 2018. This initiative aims to make nature accessible to everyone through eight trails spread across Wallonia’s nature parks, all of which are located exclusively within Natura 2000 sites.
