Art et marges museum

Located in the heart of Brussels in the Marolles district, the Art et marges museum has been supporting the work of artists who do not fit into the traditional cultural circuit for over 25 years.  Known as "outsiders", these self-taught artists/creators work alone or in creative workshops for psychologically fragile or mentally handicapped people.

Through temporary exhibitions, the artistic works are regularly renewed to the delight of all. Due to the temporary nature of the exhibitions, only the fixed parts were audited (entrance, toilets, lift, etc.).

Practical information :
  • The museum is ideally located in the Marolles district, close to public transport (metro, tram, bus).

  • The Saint-Pierre bus stop is right in front of the museum entrance (bus 27 - 48 - 12).

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
