Brussels Pride: 30 years on, Pride remains a key day for Belgium’s LGBTQIA+ community and the defence of their rights.
This year’s theme: When Times Get Darker, We Shine Brighter
This event features a range of areas:
The Pride Parade: The Pride Parade is one of the flagship events of Brussels Pride – The Belgian & European Pride 2026. Its aim is to celebrate diversity, tolerance and acceptance of all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, through a parade through the streets of the capital.
The Pride Village: The Pride Village is an area where you can find various organisations providing information and support services for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Concerts and DJ sets on the Mont des Arts stage.
Practical information:
For this year’s event, only the Mont des Arts site (stage and Pride Village) is covered by the certification.
A map of the sites and the programme are available in large format on the website.
The festival can be reached by various forms of public transport. Some routes from bus stops are longer or more difficult than others. All access information is available on the event website: https://www.brusselspride.eu/en/home
This year, it has not been possible to secure a dedicated car park near the event. The nearest car park is "Interparking Albertine"
Payment can be made by Bancontact via a Sum Up wireless payment terminal, as well as in cash.
For the parade/walk through the city: Although the route has not been assessed by Access-i, please be aware that the route is quite challenging. There are numerous slopes along the route. We advise you to walk on the right-hand side of the road, as you will not always be able to use the pavements. From the start, the route is uphill. You will be able to stop and rest in the gardens of the Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula. There is also a step at Place de la Monnaie, in the MUNPUNT building, which, depending on the crowd, will allow you to view the procession from above, but no PRM area will be provided.
The event takes place in a public space and is therefore subject to the condition of the (uneven) ground surfaces, road traffic and the terrain of the site (numerous slopes).
For any questions regarding the accessibility of the event, please contact the organisers by email: info@brusselspride.eu
