A fresh perspective on stone !
The Sprimont Stone Interpretation Centre welcomes you to a remarkable venue : a former power station built in 1905. Visitors of all ages can enjoy a fun, interactive exhibition dedicated to the local stone, petit granit.
Embark on a journey through time to understand how the Earth was formed, observe the fossils it conceals and discover how stone was quarried in the past. The exhibition also tells the story of the people and trades that have shaped this stone, which is emblematic of the region.

Did you know ? The museum is surrounded by a sculpture park that is open to all and free to visit.

The Access-i certification applies to the museum space.
The Stone Interpretation Centre also has an event space consisting of a large hall, a mezzanine and a cafeteria. These spaces are also accessible via a separate entrance and the museum lift.
To discover the museum in an interactive way and enjoy a visit at your own pace, you can now download the visitor app to your smartphone. The visitor app is free of charge.
For those who wish, devices with the visitor app are available at reception (rental price : 2€).
