Centre d'interprétation de la pierre de Sprimont

A fresh perspective on stone !

The Sprimont Stone Interpretation Centre welcomes you to a remarkable venue : a former power station built in 1905. Visitors of all ages can enjoy a fun, interactive exhibition dedicated to the local stone, petit granit.

Embark on a journey through time to understand how the Earth was formed, observe the fossils it conceals and discover how stone was quarried in the past. The exhibition also tells the story of the people and trades that have shaped this stone, which is emblematic of the region.

‘You’ll never see your surroundings in the same way again.’

Did you know ? The museum is surrounded by a sculpture park that is open to all and free to visit.
