Centre du visiteur de l'Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville

Discover Villers-la-Ville Abbey, a remarkably well-preserved former Cistercian abbey, which is also a new cultural hub offering a wealth of events. Nearly 900 years of history in a green setting in the heart of Walloon Brabant.

The mill has been restored to house the new visitor centre : a new reception area combined with a shop, an interpretation centre and a new outdoor visitor trail with panoramic views of the site and access to the ruins.

Practical information :
  • Tours adapted for visually impaired visitors can be booked on request.

  • Please note : the Abbey Bistro is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
