Charlier Museum

The Charlier Museum, inaugurated in 1928, is located in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, a 19th-century mansion that was once the residence of Henry Van Cutsem, a wealthy collector and patron of the arts. It was inherited by the sculptor Guillaume Charlier. It houses a collection of paintings from the late 19th-century Belgian school of painting, as well as period furniture.

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
