Cycling route : Brussels for everyone

The bike route will take you on a ride between the municipalities of Jette and Laeken. These two municipalities are unique in that they combine urban life with nature. From Laeken Park, at the foot of the Atomium, then through the streets of the surrounding neighborhoods, you will pass by the Jette marshes and conclude your ride by crossing King Baudouin Park.

Hop on your bike and set off to discover the heritage of these two Brussels towns !

Practical information :
  • Starting point : At the foot of the Atomium, at the intersection of Boulevard du Centenaire and Avenue Jean Sobieski

  • End point : At the foot of the Atomium, at the intersection of Boulevard du Centenaire and Avenue Jean Sobieski

  • Distance : 8 km loop

  • This circuit takes place in an urban environment, which means that cyclists will have to share the road with other users (pedestrians, cyclists, cars, buses, trams). Cyclists will encounter heavier traffic. Cycling in the city requires caution and a certain amount of experience.

  • There is no bicycle rental service nearby, so you will need to bring your own equipment. If you wish to rent equipment from Pro Velo, this is possible, but please note that it is 8.5 km (approximately 35 minutes) from their premises to the starting point.
