Domaine régional Solvay (Château de La Hulpe)

From the outset, Château de La Hulpe charms visitors with its naive, “Moulinsart-style” exterior.

It is through this affable image, sitting comfortably on its grounds, that it conveys its quiet strength and fuels our imagination.

Here, the ponds capture the trees in their mirrors and draw necklaces around the clouds. There, vast green carpets offer their softness to confidences, children's games, picnics of yesteryear... to carefree moments.

A deer leaping at the edge of the woods, a carp jumping, intoxicated by the onset of spring... surprises abound in these places and fill us with wonder.

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
