GardeRobe MannekenPis

The famous Manneken Pis remains the emblem of the rebellious and playful spirit of the City of Brussels. Costumes are often donated to this sculpture.

Located a stone's throw from the fountain, the Manneken Pis Wardrobe displays around 140 costumes from this incredible collection. Coming from all over the world, the costumes are displayed by theme :

  • Geographical

  • Designers

  • Characters and personalities

  • Professions

  • Sports

  • Charity and civic associations

  • Carnivals and folklore

Practical information :
  • Most of the works on display can be touched and smelled, allowing all visitors to discover their content.

  • An audio guide without audio description is available to explain the museum's contents.

  • For conservation reasons, the museum only displays part of this fabulous collection. You can view all of the costumes on the website using the ‘User Way’ accessibility tool or at the museum itself via the interactive terminal.

  • You can dress three statuettes in the museum.
