La Boverie

La Boverie houses the permanent collections of the Liège Museum of Fine Arts and a brand new space designed to host multifaceted temporary exhibitions, each offering a unique experience for visitors.

One level of the building houses the fine arts collections of the City of Liège. Lambert Lombard, Gérard de Lairesse, Ingres, Gauguin, Chagall, Picasso, Evenepoel, Delvaux, Magritte and others attest to the modernity of art throughout the ages, from the Renaissance to the present day. The tour, accessible to as many people as possible, is accompanied by interactive educational support in four languages.

The upper level hosts major temporary exhibitions covering approximately 2,800 m². These exhibitions are either organised directly by the City of Liège, created in collaboration with the Louvre, or entrusted to other operators.
