Malmundarium

The Malmundarium, located in the heart of Malmedy, is a tourist and cultural centre housed in a former Benedictine monastery with a long history dating back to the 7th century.

On the ground floor, around the inner courtyard and cloister, you will discover workshops dedicated to leather and paper making, carnival, the cathedral's treasure and temporary exhibitions in the ‘Mon'Art’ space.

In the attic, on the second floor, a timeline traces the unique history of the city of Cwarmê, and the ‘Châtelet’ and ‘Poudingue’ rooms host temporary exhibitions.

This museum offers a space for remembrance, art, history and culture. It is a must-see in the Eastern Townships.

In July and August, the museum is open every day from 10:00 to 18:00. During the rest of the year, opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00, and the museum is closed on Mondays.

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
