Mini-Europe

Support :

The audit and certification project for 11 museums was made possible thanks to the valuable support of the Brussels-Capital Region.

Museum description:

Mini-Europe is an open-air park where all the wonders of Europe are on display in miniature. Bonsai trees, flower-filled groves and dwarf trees provide a backdrop for 370 monuments and attractions, all meticulously reproduced on a scale of 1:25.

You will find thousands of figurines and visual and audio attractions that are more realistic than the real thing! Trigger the eruption of Vesuvius or watch the Ariane rocket take off !

A two-hour entertaining and informative walk will allow you to (re)discover the 27 member countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom and Ukraine, and their historical, architectural and cultural riches.

Practical information :
  • Mini-Europe is located in the heart of Bruparck. There are three car parks :

    - Via the Bruparck car park on Boulevard du Centenaire (please note the steps to access the site) ;

    - Via Avenue du Football ;

    - Via Avenue du Championnat.

    => The most accessible car park with the most reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility is the one on Avenue du Championnat.

  • The site has a cafeteria, a secondary exhibition and a shop, in addition to the park. It is important to note that it is the park that is certified and not the secondary spaces mentioned above.

  • Ticket office and reception :

    - Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk, from a ticket machine or online. It is not necessary to book in advance.

    - There is a preferential rate for European Disability Card holders and their companions.

  • Toilets :

    - Adapted toilets are available in the restaurant.

  • Accessibility for people with disabilities :

    - Access for people with reduced mobility is permitted in 99% of the park. Follow the signs to access the park, as access from the main Bruparck car park is not suitable.

    - Guided tours must be booked by email or telephone. They are led by professional tour guides who are not trained in welcoming people with specific needs.

    - It is not possible to touch the monuments and attractions. The park is therefore difficult to access for blind people.

Couvin

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
