Musée L

Silent, a museum ? Not in Louvain-la-Neuve, where the Musée L brings works of art into dialogue with each other. A Buddha next to a medieval Christ, ancient writings opposite calculating machines... the Musée L, with its 32,000 items in its inventory, dares to create unusual encounters to tell us about the world and our humanity. It displays works of art, but that's not all : it also presents the scientific collections of the Catholic University of Louvain. Natural history specimens, archaeological and ethnographic objects and scientific inventions are displayed in a 2,600 m² exhibition space, in the heart of a building that is emblematic of modern Belgian architecture.

The Museum L is not a museum like any other : it is a place of exchange and life, dedicated to emotion and exploration.

Couvin

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
