Museum of Medicine

The Museum of Medicine has been in existence for over 25 years and houses a unique collection consisting mainly of works of art and archaeological artefacts rather than old instruments and equipment. A visit to its eight exhibition rooms provides a direct insight into medical practices and enables visitors to understand the evolution of medicine.

Saint Victor Church in Petigny

The Church of Saint Victor in Petigny (Couvin) was rebuilt between 1872 and 1874 in a neo-Romanesque style, based on plans by architect Ladislas Degreny. It consists of three naves and its bell tower was restored in 1939. The interior was redesigned in 1968 by architect René Michaux. Its organ, built around 1890 by Schyven, has recently undergone a participatory restoration.

Today, the church remains a lively place of worship and also hosts cultural activities.
