Centre Ardenne Observatory

The purpose of the Centre Ardenne Observatory is to promote astronomy and astronomical sciences under one of the clearest skies in Belgium.

The Centre Ardenne Observatory is a public astronomical observatory located in Grapfontaine, Belgium, in the Province of Luxembourg. It is the only public, generalist and permanent observatory in Wallonia, and has six domes, including one for people with reduced mobility, and one of the most powerful telescopes in Belgium.

The association organises numerous discovery, training and management activities, etc., open to all in the French-speaking and German-speaking regions of the country and on the coast. Thousands of members participate and are involved in more than 60 sections to constantly renew this lifelong learning movement.
