Parc naturel de la Vallée de l'Attert

For those who are less mobile, children, grandparents, wheelchair users or anyone who wants to enjoy nature, discover a Natura 2000 area in Metzert (Büchhoulz and Därheck woods) specially adapted for people with reduced mobility. Fun modules and a few benches allow you to better appreciate this wetland. You can learn who the violet's friend is, spot the silhouettes of some of the area's inhabitants, discover the clever badger's burrow... and enjoy a peaceful picnic.

Practical information :
  • Educational trail in Metzert :

    - GPS coordinates: 49°43'43.7 N - 5°46'42.7 E

  • The round trip is 2.5 km.

  • The trail is a straight line, so there is no risk of getting lost or going wrong.

  • Each information panel has a ‘you are here’ sign, so you can see where you are along the walk.

  • At the end of the section accessible to people with reduced mobility (where you have to turn back), the path continues but is much narrower, so it is easy to see where you need to turn back.
