Vignoble des Ruines de l'Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville

Since 1990, the Confrérie du Vignoble de l'Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville has been restoring the small vineyard in the abbot's garden, which had been left fallow. The entire vineyard covers around 20 acres spread over five levels.

Practical information :
  • This information sheet only includes the audit of the first plateau of the vineyards and entry to the wine cellar.

  • A guided tour of the vineyard and cellar is followed by a tasting throughout the year. This tour can be combined with access to the Abbey Ruins (the visitor centre and the ruins of the Abbey have also been audited and certified by Access-i).

  • Visits can be booked on request via the website or scheduled once a month with the Abbey. Duration : 1.5-2 hours

  • Visits are available in French, Dutch, English and German.

  • No staff training has been provided to date, but staff are very aware of the issues.
