The 118th Jemappes Cavalcade will take place from 5 to 7 April 2026.
The Access-i certification applies to 6 April 2026, with the programme for this hugely popular folk festival in Jemappes including:
Grand carnival procession.
Final parade of floats, brass bands and horses from the ‘Levant Stables in Cuesmes’.
Night-time procession with Bengal lights.
A round dance by all the societies with fireworks on the Grand' Place.
Burning of the bonfires on the Grand' Place.
In a festive atmosphere, this event allows everyone to enjoy a convivial moment with family or friends.
Practical information:
This is a free event (no admission fee).
There are reserved parking spaces on the various access routes to the event.
You can watch and follow the carnival procession wherever you like.
An area will be reserved around the Grand' Place to watch the final parade, with toilet facilities nearby.

Please note that large crowds are expected, so please plan your journey in advance, and be aware of the slopes on some streets.
