The Natur’Accessible project certifiers
The benefits of nature are well established. Trees, light, birds, flowers, colours – all these elements combine to offer walkers a range of positive sensations and emotions.
Based on this observation, the Federation of Natural Parks of Wallonia launched the Natur’Accessible project in 2018, with the aim of making nature accessible to all.
As a result, nine trails spread across Wallonia’s nature parks and located exclusively in Natura 2000 areas have been developed for people with specific needs. In these protected areas, which are home to a wealth of biodiversity, walkers of all kinds can stroll, stop and enjoy a moment of peace and relaxation. The trails have been developed and now feature adapted information panels and modules, as well as attractive rest areas.
Some examples of the facilities are highlighted below (this list is not exhaustive). Click on the location of your choice to see the full list.

• Sentier de la Trientale (Parc naturel Hautes Fagnes-Eifel) : Car park with disabled parking spaces and adapted picnic table.
• Sentier des chauves-souris (Parc naturel de Gaume) : Map of the adapted route and handrails on slopes.
